Goodnight beautiful,
Sleep Tight wonderful.
Let’s not play this game.
Please, just say my name.

Oh, I wanna love ya’
Oh, I wanna need ya’
So, please just hold me tight—
Don’t ever leave my sight.

If we can, let’s just lay here
And let love dissolve our fear.
I’ll watch the rippling jeans
And tell you what it means.

Please, Please don’t ever listen to what they say,
It doesn’t matter at the end of the day.

I came up with some of this on a date, and the rest of it was pretty much just inspiration.  Love poems aren't usually my style but, I think this one turned out pretty well.
